To Truth Lives

Thank you for your kind words, but I hasten to say, I make no claim to having a towering intellect, being just a very ordinary man whose life has been transformed by meeting the very extraordinary Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, and I'm full-on for telling others about Him.

Time constraints for both of us requires me to be less wordy than usual, so I attempt to focus on what I perceive to be the heart of our conversation, which (there being no disagreement between us about the unchangable Word of the God of the Bible), is the time after Jesus when it was written down, and should our conversation resume at some future date, I'd like to continue discussing this with you please.

Part of that discussion should include the dating of the compilation of the Qur'an and the Sahi Hadith, which, although contested by some Muslim apologists/debaters I can bring to mind, I believe to be pretty well documented, if not accepted by the aforementioned Muslims, and most importantly, any future conversation should include abrogation, believing as I do, that the "nice-sounding" peaceful ayat beloved of Muslim spokesmen to the West, have all been abrogated.

Absolutely central to world peace, is the issue of peace and violence in Christianity and Islam, and whilst violent jihad is nowhere commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ of His followers, and whilst they can find no support or warrant for it in either Old or New Testaments, the Muslim can find ample support and mandate for the use of jihad against kafirun and although the distinction between the greater and lesser jihads is based on a weak hadith, the greater jihad won't threaten state security or my life, but the lesser jihad most certainly will, which is why I write under the protective name of Lactantius.

Surah 9 is the last Surah to be revealed in its entirety, with aya 29 being a war proclamation that has never been cancelled. No passage comes after it that can cancel or abrogate it, and when you have the time and computer access to read it, I recommend you look at Revd.Richard Baileys 26 page study of what the Qur'an and Sahi Hadith have to say about jihad, it is titled, "Jihad The Teachings of Islam From Its Primary Sources-The Quran And Hadith" posted at:-

If you really believes the verses on warfare have been canceled, then please write this in articles, speak it from plaforms and persuade the Islamists. However, they believe they know their Qur'an and will disagree with you, are you willing to stake your life on their time-specificity?

Ah, meetings, symposia, colloquia seminars and debates etc. but please don't let them, or your theology, get between you and the Lord Jesus.

With kind regards and best wishes

Jesus Christ is Lord

Lactantius Jr.
