Things are a little more complicated

Reader comment on item: The London Markaz
in response to reader comment: Mr Salman is getting to sound a little extreme.

Folks, I really don't see the harm in the building of a Mosque in the heart of London During the Olympics, its a sign of our inclusive and progressive society.

My one caviat is that the Mosque is as open and inviting to non Muslims as the Architect and head of the project claim to want it to be; If that is the case then there ought to be no problem.

There are also plenmty of Churches that exceed 10 000 in size, the Church in Newham which is moving because of the building of the stadium alone can hold over 12 000 so I suggest reexaming some facts.

Jacqueline, Regents parks Muslim inhabitants are British, your assertion that if somone is Muslim, they cannot be British is the equivalent of the extremists who would deny non-Mulims equal status, I'm sure you're better then that.
