Tax Payers to pay for what?

Reader comment on item: The London Markaz
in response to reader comment: why the tax payer should pay for the markaz

Submitted by Bacon Butty (United Kingdom), Jul 2, 2007 at 18:01

Why on earth should British Taxpayers have to stump up for a muslim worship place?

This country runs on Christian principals, it is mainly Christians who pay tax, so why should they pay for a mosque?

I have yet to hear of muslims coughing up for church repairs.

Why do muslims always complain about everything? Demand everything? Reckon people are 'discriminating' against them?

As for this big mosque, the only good thing if it does get built is that on a friday evening, there's a good place to find your local terrorist.
