Dear Mr. Syed,

I am a free thinking person, not inclined towards any particular religion, but have general interest in knowing the precepts of different beliefs. I have a few questions for you to answer from your religion point of view.

Why do you refer to God as He & Him. Why can' t you use She or It or even i ? You say we all go to Him. First of all where are we and where is He. Is there a distance. If so what is there in that gap. What do we get by reaching Him and why should we go to Him at all. Why can't He himself come to us. Why should He make himself so complicated and incomprehensible, that we all fight about his form and nature. In the first place why is He so fond of our prayer? Suppose someone curses/abuses Him, how is He going to deal with that person? How do we know that He understands the language of our prayer? Is He proficient in languages. If so how many? Suppose everyone on this planet abandon all existing religions for good and live on the general principles of life like mutual love, affection, selfless service, sacrifice, hard work and common understanding, what is going to happen. With such limited understanding of Him why should we fight and argue that my God /religion is right. The deeper a person studies his religion the more crazily and adamantly tries to profess his and condemn other religions. Why does this disorder occur so commonly?
