What Would Jesus Do

Reader comment on item: The London Markaz

Submitted by Mohammed (United States), Jan 14, 2007 at 10:18

Religiously speaking, the pivotal difference between Islam, Christianity and Judaism is over Christ.

Given the fact that Islam in the only religion outside of Christianity that believes in Christ, I see no reason why this Mosque, which is proposed to be opened to all Christians as well as other faiths, should be denied.

I suspect if Jesus would to handle this matter he would do so like he did other problems of his day....through endless love and compassion....perhaps he would heal our minds against spirit of intolerance, hate and hostility which seems to characterize much of the opponents of this project.
