Wrong PCMadness! You can't prove it but you CAN disprove it.

News to me! How?

"I don't see how you can conclude that falsification tests mean nothing from what Popper has realized? This is exactly what i said: bring a theory and bring with it falsification tests; the falsification test may involve experiments and tests; so what? if they disprove the theory, the theory is finished."

It's impossible to prove either way isn't it? That is all I was getting at.

Do you know that there is no objection that has been raised against the Quran that is not already commented upon in the Quran itself?

There has been a group of people who have reached the conclusion that there is so much information in the Quran that no arabian could have known? so Muhammad must have outside source of information. meaning that he is a liar;that somebody gave him this information and he said it came from God."

Why? is this not possibly true?

"And then there is another group of people who did their own research and came to conclusion that at different moments in his life Muhammad showed a confidence that could only come if he was a prophet of God. But actually he was crazy, he thought he was a prophet!"

Also possibly true!!

"Well you can be a liar or you can be crazy, or you can be neither but you can't be both; a liar and a crazy person at the same time."

Why not? This is just ridiculous mumbo jumbo. Of course you can be crazy and a liar.

"So your objection that clever men interpreted...falls into which category?"

Either, both or none. That's my point.

"Where did this inofrmation come from(just one examle - no interpretation required by clever men):

Have not the disbelievers seen that the Heavens and the Earth were one piece and we parted them? And We made every living thing from water. Will they not then believe?" (21:30)"

Disbelievers being ALL non-muslims. How would I or any other non-muslim without knowing Islam know anything about that passage??

"As i have said the Quran is not a muslim book."

Yes it is!!!

"It is a book from the one who created everything. let him who will take heed."

Only 1/5 of the worlds population are sure of that, so you are a minority.

"It would be very nice if they started pondering their own scriptures and stick to what their scriptures say instead of following cults invented later."

I'm intrigued! Please explain this comment. Which cults?

"One more question. Why would God tell just one person in the world? If he is all powerful surely he could have just broadcast it to the world in everyones native tongue and then there would be just one religion wouldn't there?

This objection is already commented upon in the Quran. You will find the answer there. Go look it up."

Thanks for the offer but I'm sorry, I have a life you know. I'm not trawling through the Quran for these little pearls.

You said to me before.

"4:82 What, do they not ponder the Koran? If it had been from other than God surely they would have found in it many inconsistencies."

Can I ask?

Did you ponder any other religion before becoming a Muslim? Did you ponder, Christianity, Hinduism, Bhuddism, Sikhism, Judaism, paganism and all the others before becoming a Muslim.

If not why not???
