Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?

If Jesus is against Polygamy Bible(s) has/have contradictions. King David had many wives. Were NOT moved by the Holy Ghost? Did they have different message from God? I don´t understand how do you accept all those conflicting parts of Bible(s). Too many books too many contradictions. You can choose whatever you want to feel comfortable about your belief. But the problem is how you call it as Christianity. Thanks to Allah. One book, one messenger, one God. That´s my religion.

´Was not Jesus Jewish? If he overruled a law he should have given the reasons. Mark 10:6-9 does not say so just talks about the union of man and woman. Therefore Mark 10:6-9 does not refer to polygamy. By the way Jesus was single how can he talk about the union of man and woman? He didn´t know the problems of marriage. That´s why he assumed them as a single body, not separable.

It is wrong to say "poligamy is illegal in Christian societies." It is illegal in Western societies, which does not share all Christian values. Vatican should be more tolerant.
