Some Questions to Christians & true believer: About journey of The Word (John 1:1)

Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?

Submitted by Nuray (Germany), May 28, 2006 at 12:43

I was reading one of the comments of true believer. He posted some sections of Bible, given below.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

I really want to know how modern minds understand the first one John 1:1.

" Word was with God " says word (whatsoever any idea?), was with God. It must be another entity, different than God. However the following sentence continues with just opposite claim saying that word was God.

John 1:1 says at the begining there was no God but Word. Is that possible? No.

The word which was before God be with God then becomes God, It seems that The word is more powerful than God. Is that possible? No.

It seems that being a God was not good enough for The Word then becomes flesh (John 1:14 ) Why? No idea.

Do all things fit to trinity? I donĀ“t thinks so. According to Bible The Word transfoms itself from one entity to another. Interesting journey.

By the way if "the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth" so why are all of us except the begotten of the Father created ? What was the reason bto be created for us? Three of them could exist forever without us. It is estimated that earth will exist for almost 1 billion years. Human histoy is just about 50 000 years. Do you think that The Word chose the begotten of the Father very early. Can anyone suggest that Christiany is going to survive for 1 billion years? Is that possible? No.

If The Word has different meanings please let me know.
