Dear Nuray,

Please dont be angry with me. I was only trying to answer Saladin's query. Why do moslems blame the western societies of being morally corrupt when they do the things on earth that moslems are supposed to do in heaven ? Moslems also do these very evil things whenever they get a chance , but becaues of their hypocrisy and social restrictions, they tend to do it in secret. Freedom to choose is indeed very good, then why not give equal freedom to your women also to do all that you do ? You said "It is a good deal". I would rather say you are taken for a ride.

Your basic question "What to expect from paradise" ? I will give the answer from the Bible.

This is given in the Gospel of Matthew Chapter 6, verses 23 - 32 where Jesus spoke to the Saducees, a Jewish group whose beliefs differed from the Pharisees.

Matt 22:23 That same day the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to him with a question.
Matt 22:24"Teacher," they said, "Moses told us that if a man dies without having children, his brother must marry the widow and have children for him.
Matt 22:25 Now there were seven brothers among us. The first one married and died, and since he had no children, he left his wife to his brother.
Matt 22:26 The same thing happened to the second and third brother, right on down to the seventh.
Matt 22:27 Finally, the woman died.
Matt 22:28 Now then, at the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all of them were married to her?"
Matt 22:29 Jesus replied, "You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.
Matt 22:30 At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.
Matt 22:31 But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read what God said to you,
Matt 22:32'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? He is not the God of the dead but of the living."

What do angels do in heaven ? They worship Yahwey, the God Almighty. This is given in the book of Isaiah Chapter 6, verses 1 - 5 where Isaiah talks of the vision he had. The angels praise and worship God.

Is 6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple.
Is 6:2 Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying.
Is 6:3 And they were calling to one another:
"Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory."
Is 6:4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.
Is 6:5 "Woe to me!" I cried. "I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty."

My God will never allow anything in heaven that he has prohibited on earth. This is evident from the prayer to the Heavenly Father that Jesus himself taught us. I am quoting from the gospel of St. Matthew Chapter 6,verses 9-13

Matt 6:9 "This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
Matt 6:10 your kingdom come, YOUR WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.
Matt 6:11 Give us today our daily bread.
Matt 6:12 Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
Matt 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one
.

If you remember, in one of your earlier posts we had argued about Moslems worshipping the same God as Jews and Christian. This was the one of reasons that I told you that I don't worship the same God as you do. This is also why we refuse to accept Mohammed as a prophet and reject his books as the ones from God.

Nice to have you back on this forum. I hope you have got settled down in your new place ;-)
