It never ceases to amaze when we see belly dancing as accepted "boys' night out" joints in the ME crescent, taking on additional wives for wot? The guy is lonesome with only 1 or 2? Burkas stifling the unfortunate complacent and obedient women, god help them if while waiting for a bus, a guy comes along and ask them how long have they been waiting, whether they answer him or not. Dressing little girls in stifling cothing to their toes and rests with a headscarf yet so that they don't appear to be provcative.

Three cheers for Jacques Chirac laying down the law - no head scarves in schools, no crosses, no stars of david - not sure if it's still in force. In Canada (?), a delegation showed up to lay it down to the top govt guy from now on, if they show up in court, it will be run on the basis of sharia courts will be run based on law of Sharia, and instead of the Constitution, the guidelines will be the Koran. He told them to go home and ferget it, bvuddy, no way other than the Const. Other countries are more accommodating, mustn't stir up the friendly immigarants. Imagine if we tried to pull constitution, magna carta, bill of rights, women's vote, ERA, protection of minorities, churches of every denomination. The knives will be out in seconds, and in the name of Allah, it's death to all. But when the Saudi princes take over 2 floors in posh Paris hotels to hold all their wives, no objections listed in the Koran. Women beaten down for centuries in tactics to hold down sexual appetites but the boys are free to do anything they wish. Nothing has changed nor will ever.
