in response to reader comment: Is this true information about the Muslims ? or is it a conspiracy ?

Human nature has so much to do with all of these discussions. What certain Christians did in history was to try to force their religion on people. That's just not going to work with human nature. Same goes for all of us. Just as the Muslim women here on this board don't want us forcing our beliefs on them, we also don't want them forcing theirs on us. As soon as we start to disagree, up go our defenses. That's human nature. What is sad is that the good is lost in all of this. The fight grows a life of its own. Obviously, I don't agree with homosexuality or abortion or oppressing women or slavery. I'm kind of conservative in certain ways. I'm not a big fanatic though. When Mandy said she actually enjoyed the company of gay people because they were fun, I knew exactly what she was talking about. In my opinion, God loves us all the same.

But I'm trying to say just because I don't agree doesn't mean I hate or even dislike someone for not having my way of thinking. People very close to me have had abortions. It's not going to make me not love them. If I were just a look-down-your-nose type judgmental Christian, I would do more harm on this earth than good, as history has taught us in so many ways. I mean, our country enslaved black people. Learning from my mistakes is a big deal to me. Being the youngest of four, I've always thought it's so much easier if you could learn from someone else's though. =) So I know I've been pushing the issue about the Muslim women's plight in some countries, and I will just leave that subject alone in hopes that I don't bring a bunch of hatred onto this board.

I respect anyone who sincerely tries their best to bring some good to this world with no dark agenda. I hope I didn't offend anyone this time.
