Danish Hypocrites

Reader comment on item: Something Rotten in Denmark?

Denmark supports "freedom of speech" for malicious libel against its largest religious minority, and also has no problem arresting and extraditing a foreigner for "speech crimes" committed in another country. [http://www.adl.org/PresRele/NeoSk_82/2519_82.asp]

It seems like the Danish are more concerned with discerning which religious group is the target of the hate speech than upholding any actual standard for what is and is not acceptable to publish.

To the Jews on this forum who are apt to countenance the "right" to publish these derogatory cartoons, remember this is the same nation that barely fired a shot at Hitler's army as it seized their entire land in a number of hours.

Look at the nation that is now refusing to condemn hate speech: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/a/a9/Schalburgerblegdamsvej.jpg/350px-Schalburgerblegdamsvej.jpg
