To Rick: Quran has words of Allah. It gives all answers itself.

Dear Rick,

I gave the time as the time of historians who recorded everything without checking the validity.
Of course, it is not duty of historians to check all oral literature. They did their job as expected.
We Muslims believe that it is a fabrication created by the unbelievers of Mecca in the early days of Islam. They urged Muhammed, peace upon him, to recognise Lat, Uzza and Manat. Their names are mentioned in sura 53 which shows Allah rejects those invented idols.

53 AN-NAJM - THE STAR
"Have you ever seen LAt and Uzza[19] and another, the third Manat (names of
Arabian idols, claimed by the pagans of Mecca to be the daughters of Allah)?[20] Are
you to have sons, and He the daughters?[21] This indeed is an unfair division![22]
These (LAt, Uzza and ManAt) are nothing but names which you and your forefathers
have invented, for Allah has vested no authority in them. The unbelievers follow
nothing but mere conjecture and the whims of their own souls, even though right
guidance has already come to them from their Lord."

The other verse (22:52), which is used an evidence for existence of satanic verses is somewhere else in Quran. It is not in sura 53 but in 22.

22 AL-HAJJ - THE PILGRIMAGE
"O Muhammad, tell them: "O mankind! I am merely a plain Warner to you;[49] Those who accept the true faith and do good deeds shall be forgiven and provided
honorable sustenance;[50] but those who strive against Our revelations, shall be the
inmates of flaming fire."[51]
Never have We sent a Messenger or a prophet before you, O Muhammad, with
whose wishes Satan did not tamper; but Allah abrogates the interjections of Satan
and confirms His own revelations, for Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.[52]
He makes Satan's interjections a temptation for those whose hearts suffer from the disease of
hypocrisy and whose hearts are hardened - that's why the wrongdoers are in such an
extreme dissension[53] - so that those who are endowed with knowledge may realize
that this (Qur'an) is the Truth from your Lord and thus believe in it and humble their
hearts towards Him, and surely Allah will guide the believers to the Straight Way."

Yes, the order of suras does not reflect the chronological order of the Quranic verses but the subjects of those sections are completely different. Is that logical to use two different verses in different places to support a wishful thinking? Muhammed, peace upon him, is one of the servants of Allah. If Satan affects any Muslim why not him. But as the verse says "Allah abrogates the interjections of Satan and confirms His own revelations" It is very clear that Muhammed, peace upon him, did nothing wrong against the will of Allah. Quran has words of Allah. It gives all answers itself. Why? Because it is the last book. It is so perfect and so complete.

If Allah says "Allah abrogates the interjections of Satan and confirms His own revelations" why should I waste my time for fabricated pagan stories?

"But it is nothing else than a Reminder to all the 'Alamîn (all that exists). " (68:52)

So, I take this reminder (Quran) seriously.
