Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?
in response to reader comment: To Nuray and all muslims living in kafir lands

Dear Nuray,

You said some very good things about how Christians, muslims and other religions could coexist without wars and striffe. Unfortunately the doctrine of Islam does not allow for that. In the west and other Christian countries people have the right to practice their faith without fear.
However I can't say the same about the islamic world.

In countries like Saudi Arabia only Islam is legal, anyone caught practicing another faith is subjected to imprisonment.
In Indonesia Christians routinely see their churches burnt to ashes, then they are prohibitted from rebuilding them.
In the Sudan for two decades the Arab government has waged a non stop jihad against the black Sudanese Christians. Killing hundred of thousands and displacing millions.
Conversion to Christianity i punishable by death.

In the Christian world you are free to practice your religion. The west is not perfect, having struggled and still struggling with the evil of racism. But thanks to people like Martin Luther King we have become a much better society. May that's what the muslim world needs, a civil rights movement to stop the mad mullahs in their tracks before it's too late.
