Response to Nuray, Congress debate quran petition (faithfreedom.org)

Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?
in response to reader comment: Questions to muslims

Submitted by Bob (United States), Jan 24, 2006 at 13:20

No, We cannot prove that Jesus lived on earth or Mohammed was a prophet in a court of law, but we sure can prove that Quran is a book of discrimination , hatred and violence and must be banned in USA. That is what over 400 signatories (so far) are trying to do (see congress debate quran, petition on faithfreedom.org).

A similar writ was filed in an India High court in 1984 to ban quran since it spreads hatred violence and discrimination against non muslims and violated several Indian penal codes.

Only by intense muslim pressure the writ was dismissed without discussion.
