Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?
in response to reader comment: Romans style Christianity

Submitted by Richard the Lion heart (United States), Jan 16, 2006 at 18:17

Nuray you are very mistaken, the early christians made no such deals with the Romans. As a matter of fact the Roman emperors persecuted Christians for centuries. Christians do not worship statues, the statues are only a testament of faith. On the other hand Islam is a fabricated religion. In both the new and old testaments God speaks directly to his prophets not through angels. The Lord Jesus warned us about false prophets like Muhammad. All the rituals followed by muslims today date to pre-islamic Arabia. The kissing of the black stone, the running around the Kabba and all the rest. The Bible says nothing about Muhammad which means He's from God. One striking thing one might notice in the Koran is the fact Allah swears by the moon, the sun and the stars. While in the Bible Yahweh only swears by himself because there is nothing greater than himself. The Koran is full of such contradictions and errors one just has to look hard enough.
