Dear Allonehhob: Thanks for your kind comments.

You may want to look up another well known muslim convert to christianity and now a preacher , Dr. Memet Caner , who also wrote books to expose the truth about Mohammed and Islam.

How do I know people quietly leave islam?. Well in immediate family, my dad is a closet apostate. He is extremely well read, knows quran, hadiths and sira like the back of his hands. He hates islam. He says he questioned it from childhood. He is a great fan of Ali Sina (faithfreedom.org) and actually writes articles for that website. He thinks islam is the reason our country is so backward and poor. My mom is still a muslim and actually fears for dad's life and thinks that one of these days some one will catch up and kill him. She thinks he is also responsible for my apostacy. She refuses to listen to anything bad about Mohammed and walks away, she is Nuray type.

In local newspapers I occasionally read about people killed for secretly converting to christianity .

Several of my my best friends are closet apostates.Through the websites of apostates we know that many muslims are leaving islam. I also read that many iranians in California have converted to christianity and have their own church. There was another news item that in Russia ten times more muslims convert to christianity then other converting to islam.

Bottom line is education. There are some hardcoreres, mostly women like Nuray, who will not leave islam at any cost. But many are more open minded, just need exposure. Most people here are ignorant of real Mohammed and the absurdities in Quran. Internet could help in educating them.

A list of websites critical of islam including apostate websites are listed on listislam.cjb.net
