in response to reader comment: to Naz: The capacity of religious organizations which attack Islam

Islamic civilization , which combines people in a religion based on universal brotherhood without racial, national, or geographic boundaries, is one the great civilizations.

I will not give any example there are many websites to learn history of science & art. You can enjoy learning something that is already accepted and available in history books.

A secular state does not endorse any religion. Abbasids was rulers of the Islamic empire. Abbasids (750-950) tried to make Islamic law the only law of the state. Islam was never a Church like Christianity. Rules of Allah was never supported or changed by an organized power. You can't read something similar to "Galileo and the Inquisition". There is nothing against any scientific invention or innovation in Islam. Read one of my previous comment (Was Christ born of a virgin? Submitted by Nuray, November 18, 2005) It is about "Cardinal Bellarmine's Letter to Foscarini (1615)" which says "the earth . . . revolves with great speed about the sun . . . is a very dangerous thing" There is no reason to be atheist for a scientist in Islam. Please don't confuse Christianity with Islam.

By the way, you jumped from ecomomy to history. Good. Go ehead. These are worth disscussing. Because I fed up reading comments on marriage of our messenger. I enjoyed refreshing my Islamic history knowledge while writing about Abbasids. Thank you.
