Dear barbara,

In the verse you quoted Luke, the writer of the Gospel, says what Jesus think about God. It is not written at the time of Jesus but 50 years later. No one can be sure that Jesus says like something like that

Dear Nuray,
I looked and found this infomation. I think a smart man like you might want to... maybe not be so sure that Mohammad says something like what ever "hear say" is in the koren. yea think? After all it's a little more then 50 years later. And "No one can be sure".

The Prophet Muhammad died in 632 C.E. The earliest material on his life that we possess was written by Ibn Ishaq in 750 C.E., in other words, a hundred twenty years after Muhammad's death. The question of authenticity becomes even more critical, because the original form of Ibn Ishaq's work is lost and is only available in parts in a later recension by Ibn Hisham who died in 834 C.E., two hundred years after the death of the Prophet.
