Dear Uday,

You wrote that

"Christianity too, had inquisition practiced across the globe, a few centuries ago. Goa, one of the states in India bore the brunt of this evil practice and countless Hindus were brutally tortured and murdered "

I didn't know that I thought Christians use it for their sinners like Galileo who was one of the most renowned scientist of his time. His Copernican views (Earth has an annual motion) were scrutinized by Church officials, according to their man-made holy book(s).

You wrote that
"We still await the Vatican to apologize for inquisition in India"

As far as I know Vatican didn't apologize even from Galileo. If they do in this century everybody will laugh at them. If one day Hindus governs Vatican I could be possible. It is a political issue. But it doesn't seem so at least in our life times.

If you go to Rome you can visit Vatican as a tourist, you will see that they make a lot money from visitors. During the election of new pope two millions went to Rome. Nobody listens to teaching of popes anymore but people like watching them. Vatican has no power on political issues as they had before but survives symbolically. Do you really still want politically-faded Vatican to apologize from Hindus? it is better to ask from the imperial power that was giving orders to Vatican.

I will write you more on the other things you wrote.
