Dear Nuray,

The right for a husband to beat his wife..... yes if necessary? Compared to women are not allowed to speak in church. Only their husbands can speak on their behalf? When the bible speaks of a woman being sinlent in the church?

1 Corinthians says:

As in all the churches of the saints, let the women keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but let them subject themselves, just as the law also says. And if they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church (1 Cor. 14:33b-35).

The uniform practice of the churches; then, was that women should not take** leadership** in the church meeting. They were not to teach or to exercise authority, nor were they to engage in questions. They are to subject themselves, as the law teaches, Paul said. it seems obvious that a woman should never allow herself to be in a position of leadership or authority over men. The Headship of Jesus Christ, His leadership over the church, is to be carried out by men. Women are given a role in church and in marriage and in life....for example we are to obey our husbands ....
Ephesians 5:22 Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything

And the husbands role is to......
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her

Nowhere in the Holy Scripture does it say husband beat your wife for any reason and when you said

"Actually, all men across the world beat women without any permission. That's the reality." It sure is reality and those men that do that to their wives are just as small as a Muslim man is when they beat their wives. Any man that hits his wife is a pathetic little man that has to beat his wife to make himself feel big when in truth he is nothing but a sniveling coward. And as for womens right, I accept the role the Lord has given me as a wife and I serve a living God ...
