Read the aya again, response to Nuray

Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?
in response to reader comment: Questions to Nuray

Submitted by Rober W. (United States), Nov 9, 2005 at 16:50

Nuray , read the aya again. It says Mohammed told Zaid to keep his wife to himself. Zaid had not divorced him yet. If he had already divorced her than Allah did not have to interfere did he? Allah did not interefere when Mohammed killed Kinana after torturing and beheading him then marrying his 17 year old widow Safia. Hadiths tell the whole story about Zaid"s wife. Mohammed fell in love with his own daughter in law Zainab after seeing her in semi nude state. Zaid offered his wife to his dad and the dad used Allah's ayah to accept her.

Ayesha was six years old when Mohammed in his 50s married her....he would have accepted her when she was even 6 days or 6 months old had her father agreed to it.
