Hi Robert,

I used to say that Quran is unique source for Muslims. After seeing and replying to some many questions I can say that Quran is unique source for both Muslims and non-Muslims. It is source of all questions asked and answers are already in there. The format of arguments is that
Islam is (....) because Quran says (....)
Some people also claims that there is nothing about our messenger in Quran. It is good to answer questions like yours.

Are you trying to teach the life of Muhammed, peace upon him, to a Muslim, even ordinary one like me? You must be kidding.

You wrote that
"33.37
.SHAKIR: . But when Zaid had accomplished his want of her, We gave her to you as a wife, so that there should be no difficulty for the believers in respect of the wives of their adopted sons, when they have accomplished their want of them; and Allah's command shall be performed ."

Why do you cut the verse? Here is the complete one.

" And when you said to him to whom Allah had shown favor and to whom you had shown a favor: Keep your wife to yourself and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; and you concealed in your soul what Allah would bring to light, and you feared men, and Allah had a greater right that you should fear Him. But when Zaid had accomplished his want of her, We gave her to you as a wife, so that there should be no difficulty for the believers in respect of the wives of their adopted sons, when they have accomplished their want of them; and Allah's command shall be performed. "

The verse itself explains everything. Don't you understand what is written? Our messenger married a woman when her husband left her. What's wrong with this?

As you see Quran records everything and provides the all necessary answered. Nothing is secret or hidden. If not written in Quran how would you know rumours about our messenger?

You wrote that
"Ayesha was six when Mohammed in his 50s married her."

She could be either six months or six days old, but not so old :-) Do you believe what you wrote really?
