Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?
in response to reader comment: Story of the Kaaba

Submitted by N. Hussain (United States), Nov 2, 2005 at 15:25

Don , the muslim who quoted Ayesha as one of the muslim war heroes neglected to mention that the war she fought is an embarassment for all muslims and she is hated for it by the shia sect of islam. She fought that war (the infamous Camel war) with the fourth and the last rightly guided caliph and her own (step) son in law , and the first cousin (and son in law) of Prophet Mohammed, which resulted in deaths of thousands of muslims and further divided the muslims between friends of Ali (shian e Ali) and sunnis. Ali is considered as most revered after prophet Mohammed by majority of muslims.
