Dear Nuray,

Thanks for "opening our eyes" on the character that Muhammed was. So from now on I do not have to believe the stories told in Hadiths about the cruelty which Muhammed exercised. There are countless such stories, killing of jews who had surrendered, slavery of women and children, insatiable thirst of female companions etc.

You have given us an example of Muhammed's kindness. Let me give you an example of Adolf Hitler's kindness. This is from the book "Hitler was my friend" written by his childhood friend. He had seen young hitler giving his own woolen coat to a street beggar during a freezing cold night.

Indeed, can we then say that Adolf Hitler was a person of excellent character, benevolent and caring? We will then have to deny the holocast just as you would like us to deny the holocast Muhammed initiated and his followers carried out incessently in the later years - against the jews, christians and hindus.

Come on Nuray, don't be a negationist. Admit this - Islam is a religion that endorses violence. Even if it is for a purpose acceptable to you, it is a violent religion. Did Hadith not say, "Heaven is in the shaddow of swords?"

But I have raised a different point, which you have cleverly sidelined. I charge Muhammed for trying to corrupt God. Muhammed wants us to FEAR God, as if He is SATAN !!! There are numourous suras in Koran which start with "Allah the merciful..." but if you read on, you will see the entity of God described that is willing to allow killings, issue threats, abuses and promise of hell fire to the unbelievers. Even in rewards, Allah exhibits Muhammed's mind set - beautiful virgins awaiting the believers in Heaven !!!

Muslims follow Islam, not out of love to God but out of the fear and the greed to reap the rewards of Heavenly pleasures. "If I do this or if I do not do that, I will go to hell where I will be roasted, made to drink boilling water and eat from Zaqqum" reigns supreme in the minds of muslims. Fear is the key !!! This very fear makes and have made the muslims commit horrific crimes against humanity and converts them into the same character of God that Muhammed saw in himself - one that is cruel and feared.

Nuray, tell me in all sincereity, how many muslims will follow their religion if they are told tomorrow, that there is no hell? I bet, they will all freak out. Christianity is much better, it at least preaches love of God !!!

In any case, as I have mentioned before, you will need to elevate your thinking power much above the current level to understand the God that Hinduism paints. It is an entity that has no characteristics of humans - no hatred, no love !!! I know it is a difficult concept for you to digest, but I reckon, over a period of time, you will end up realizing it. I will do my best, at least !!!

Peace,

Uday Thipsay
