This is not realistic ..

Daniel Pipes is correct to isolate Islamism from Islam. We can obtain victory over the former, but not over the latter. Islam is too big for that.

Rejectionism is rejectionism, whether it be of Islam, of Jews/Judaism, of Christianity, of whatever. It isn't constructive and it will never go anywhere positive.

I do approve of rejectionism when it comes to lies, hypocrisy, injustice, etc. We must learn to identify these evils and learn to say "no" to them.

However, it is facile and counterproductive to identify these evils with one or another human blueprint for survival and expansive creativity. Every ideology is flawed, every religion is flawed, every political or economic theory is flawed. Every person, every people is flawed as well.

We need to get together in humility and share our stories and our victories. We need to learn from one another and respect one another.

It serves Israel - the state and the people - little if her victory is at the expense of ordinary Muslims and of Islam in general.

Please learn to pray for something more humble and realistic.
