I agree with your article on the efficacy of victory in the settlement of disputes. However, I think history has shown that only melding of groups into a single whole culture provides long-term success. Resentments of losers linger for millenia and are renewed as opportunity arises. It would be better if more Israeli/Palestinian marriages occurred as a time-honoured means of achieving common goals.
