Reader comment on item: Weak Brits, Tough French

Submitted by Monty Pogoda (Israel), Jul 12, 2005 at 11:02

I have long thought that a good solution to the Israel/"palestinian" problem would be for the U.S., the EU, and Israel to compensate all of the Arabs on the" West Bank" and have them emigrate to other countries of the world. Think about it --- they are productive, they have both intellectuals and an excellent labour force and coming with goodly sums of compensation money, would be made welcome wherever they land. They would gain, the host country would gain, the world would gain by not having this Middle East hotspot and Israel would have a relative peace [one hopes]. A Win --Win situation all round.
