Allah and God are definitly not one and the same

Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?

Submitted by Craig Cannon (United States), Jun 28, 2005 at 18:36

Allah and God are definitly not one and the same. To begin with our God is a triune God or a true three in one, namely God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit. Our God does not condone the type of hate and does not condone the murder of "Infidels" as does the Koran. There is indeed an enormous gulf between God and Allah. Islam is a religion of no real hope wheras Christians have a definite relationship to Jesus and have the definite promise of eternal life with Jesus. Jesus died for our sins and through him we have a pathway to God, not through works but through the fact that we know Jesus died for our sins in order that we can be presented blameless before God.
