Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?

Submitted by Gary Llewellyn (United States), Jun 28, 2005 at 18:06

If ANY All powerful Supreme Being exists.....Now...Right NOW..As we speak! Then, why are the world's religions fighting over what ancient dead men 'claimed" to know about a "GOD" in their writings?

Is every NOW living "God" inaccessible to living men? Shouldn't "living" men rank higher than dead ones in believability, since their decisions and state of being hasn't yet resulted in their expulsion from the GAME of life?

How many "dead" men would you trust to work on your car? To remove your gall bladder? To fix your computer?.

Religion today is mainly BOOK worship, not God worship....

I'll "believe in" the next GOD who actually "Shows UP! If LIFE is better than DEATH, why would I trust what "dead" people claimed in old writings?

They "are out of the running" in this thing we call LIFE. They are the "losers"

They don't say ANYTHING new!

WE all still can!
