What you could have added, Daniel, is that this phrase - so central to Islam - was plagiarised from Jewish scripture. See the Aramaic translation, Targum Jonathan, on Samuel II, 22:32 and Ps. 18:32 - where the text reads "Leit Eloha Eleh [Hashem]."

Muhammed obviously thought it had a neat poetic twang when said in Arabic.

More evidence that Muhammed had some tutoring from an un-named Jewish teacher before launching his career as a "prophet."
