Israel/Hamas conflict

Reader comment on item: Lessons of the War in Gaza

Submitted by Steve V Gure (United States), Aug 9, 2014 at 17:03

I agree with everything you are saying. As a strong Israel supporter, I consider Israel the answer to a home for the Jewish people. I feel that Israel lost much more than the propaganda war. The pronouncement of mission accomplished" is as meaningful as that of former President Bush. Again Israel has stopped short of accomplishing their mission for political reasons. The rockets were still being fired on them when they agreed to a truce. I am sure that not all the tunnels were destroyed. Hamas may have suffered but they were clearly not destroyed. Israel has learned nothing from their past mistakes and in the future will suffer for it

Best regards

Steve
