Gaza and the Lessons Israel Must Learn

Reader comment on item: Lessons of the War in Gaza

I don't have any solutions to the issue of HAMAS other than to eliminate them politically but perhaps that is not possible - after all, they were voted into power just as Hitler was voted into power - it does not really matter with what percentage they won or whether they seized power from their corrupt preedecessors. The corruption of the Palestinian people is that they voted for a Nazi political party and whether they justify it theologically or ideologically does not change the result. Therefore Israel has to deal with the issue and that is first and foremost - how to isolate HAMAS second - how to denazify Gaza, third how to demilitarise Gaza and fourth, how to bring about a peaceful resolution of the overall conflict.

I suspect that HMAS are the key to all this because in their weakness, if they can be defeated politically, then the PA will likewise have nowhere else to go and then Bibi amy, with wisdom, win the peace.

IN any case, I wrote this below (see the link). I would be interested in feedback because unfortunately the reality is that we are desperate for equal treatment on the international stage but it is not going to happen.
