Response to M. Khan and other apologists

Reader comment on item: What Are Islamic Schools Teaching?

Mr. Khan, the Quran promotes violence and the prophet practised violence, islamic history is full of blood and continues to be. It is not a matter of interpretation. Prophet practised what he preached. He made over 80 raids in his last 10 years of life, he killed, he looted and he captured women. Hadiths and prophet's original biographies by Ishaq and Tabari chronicled it.(faithfreedom.org,prophetofdoom.net)

Quran promises paradise with houris with swelling breasts (78.30) for killing in Allah's name:

9.111 Slay and be slain for Allah , he will reward you with paradise

3.169-171,4.100 Those who are slain for Allah are rewarded by Allah's bounty

9.22, 8.72-74 Those who fight for Allah with their wealth and persons will go to paradise

Other ayas promoting killing are 8.39,216,9.41,66.9,8.65,8.65,47.4,8.121,9.39,9.5, and many more.

Quran promotes sex with captured women and slave girls (which is rape):

4.24 All married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives) whom your right hands possess.

4.3 And if ye fear that ye will not deal fairly by the orphans, marry of the women, who seem good to you, two or three or four; and if ye fear that ye cannot do justice (to so many) then one (only) or (the captives) that your right hands possess

23.6 Guard private parts except from wives or the (slaves) that their right hands
possess, for then they are not blameworthy (read from 23.1-6)

70: 29-35 And those who guard their private parts, Except in the case of their wives or those whom their right hands possess .

Following are two of many many authentic hadiths that shows that prophet raided unanounced, killed, and captured women.

Bukhari, vol 3,Book46, No. 717

"Narrated Ibn Aun:
The Prophet had suddenly attacked Bani Mustaliq without warning while they were heedless and their cattle were being watered at the places of water. Their fighting men were killed and their women and children were taken as captives; the Prophet got Juwairiya on that day".

Bukhari,Volume 5, Book 59, Number 512:
Narrated Anas:
The inhabitants of Khaibar came out running on the roads. The Prophet had their warriors killed, their offspring and woman taken as captives. Safiya was amongst the captives, She first came in the share of Dahya Alkali but later on she belonged to the Prophet .
