in response to reader comment: Response to commenter Amir Sani -- Facts help

Whereas we appreciate that you are a Canadian (as you stated), it does not give you a monopoly over knowledge and understanding of the Canadian Education Laws and this does not help to give any 'upper hand' of arguing power to your piece.

You made your reply attractive by titling it "facts help" but other than bedspread generalizations about 'too many isolated cases' and 'child abuse', i do not see the facts to back up your criticism of Mr Amir's argument. Or do you expect us to take your assertion that Amir is 'plain wrong' as a fact merely because you are Canadian?

Also, nobody is trying to promote islam by claiming it slaughtered fewer people than other faiths. Islam is premised on the fact that God is ONE and calls upon the whole world to worship the One true God and to believe that Muhammad (PBUH) is his messenger and loyal servant. The question of who slaughtered more people only comes up when critics fail to explain why they are disbelieving in Allah's obvious and apparent onness and they start writing about who killed who.

I pray that Allah grants all of us full knowledge of the truth.
