Unfortunately you have a deep misunderstanding, you cannot make claims that the arabs lied about their ancestry from Abraham. No in fact, historians have proven that Ishmael is in fact the ancestor of the arabs as he resided in Arabia with his family in during when Hajar left for the wilderness.

The Word Elohim dervives from the word 'Eloh" or "Eloah." The last two letters at the end of the word "im" is added for 'plural of respect.' As you can see God's unique name "Eloh" is the same as Alah or "Allah." Try pronouncing both names and you'll come to this realization. The Aramaic word for God did not change and God did not want to change his name. The word "God" is an 'english' invented word to describe a 'higher being' or "deity worthy of being worshipped." The word Eloh and Allah originated earlier than the word 'God.' Eloh or Allah never called himself "God" but called himself Elah or Allah- that is His name, glory be to Him who revealed the Torah to Moses, the Gospel to the Messiah Jesus and who revelead the Quran to Muhammad (Peace be upon them all).
