in response to reader comment: The Israelis prefer "Turkish Cash" rather than tell the truth about the Armenian Genocide?

No, it's not an outright lie. It's self-evident. That Israel earns fabulous money on trade with Turkey even you can't deny and so it is logical to combine the two things in a causal chain, isn't it ? Remember also what a famous Jew once said : "Where your treasure is, there your heart is also".

> Two-way trade, having surpassed the $4-billion mark in 2011, far exceeds the level of Israel's commercial relations with Canada. By 2013, he noted, the figure is expected to reach $5 billion.

Since the tumultuous Mavi Marmara affair, the volume of trade has increased by a whopping 35 per cent<

> Israel depends heavily on Turkish cooperation regarding Iran (which is a threat to Israel's very existence) and Turkish cooperation on matters of terrorism and intelligence.< With such an ally and collaborator as Turkey Israel doesn't need to be afraid of anything or anyone and must be happy. One would like to exlaim "The Jew and the Turk , friends for ever!"

> Armenians, who were beloved by Hitler and who returned the affection, have yet to step up to the plate and condemn terrorism against Israel and the Jews.< Isn't it enough for you that Israel's Turkish sweetheart "condemns" it ? Incidentally, how well informed you're on Hitler and the Armenians. In case you want to learn something about Hitler and the Turks take a look at my little post on the big problem.

As to hypocrisy let everybody take care of his own hypocrisy first. And while some can amass fortunes in the process, others like the Armenians you are so angry with can't boast of a single shekel earned by reminding Israel of how wicked and inhuman it is of a nation that survived a genocide not to recognize the same in relation to another nation only because the genocide perpetrator happens to be an important trade partner of that nation.
