Demoralizing the troops

Reader comment on item: An Israeli Apology to Turkey
in response to reader comment: Those killed were military trained and placed on board to resist the boarding party

David Goshen ,

I just wonder how those brave Israeli soldiers who participated in the operation risking their health and life and their friends feel now after this traitorous and disgraceful act of their Prime Minister ? And how has the Army as a whole been affected by this craven "apology" for being right and defending the valid laws of the land? Such acts strongly undermine morale and must have highly negative effects on the troops. If the Turks send another shipful of "peaceful" jihadists to Gaza or elsewhere who will step in to oppose them? Maybe Netanyahu and his cronies should be dispatched in person possibly without any firearms or support from the troops they have betrayed ?
