Reader comment on item: An Israeli Apology to Turkey

This makes Netanyahu look like a sheep and Israel should never apologize for doing nothing wrong but defending herself. Why doesn't Turkey apologize for bringing a ship into Israeli waters and threatening their citizens with armed gunmen?

I fear that this will not be good for Israel's image and softens her up. What is Netanyahu thinking he will gain by giving Turkey and Obama the upper hand? It pains me that Obama will look like a competent hero here, when we know that he must have had a very strong bargaining chip to pull this off.
