Reader comment on item: An Israeli Apology to Turkey

Submitted by Eve Laing (Australia), Mar 24, 2013 at 10:52

Why wasn't the fact ever mentioned that Erdogan knew that the flotilla using the Mavi Marmara was a farce before the apology was made. He knew that there was no need to play the game of bringing food and medicine to Gaza as the shopping malls were full of anything you could want or need. (google "Gaza Shopping Malls). And an apology to a Muslim leader means submission and weakness to them and not what it means to us in our society.

If we don't tell the truth that we know then we are just as complicit in the lie as Erdogan is. World opinion continues to see Israel and Jews in particular in a perpetual negative way and we continue to allow it. Let"s stop this charade!
