in response to reader comment: muslims inferiority complex

Havas, I was with you until you blamed the misery of Muslims on the west and their imperialism. I was also with you until you blamed the movie maker for the violence.

First, Muslims have had ample opportunity to have rights and property by the hands of the 'imperialist' Americans. They have received more money for reconstruction, for education, for arms, than is imaginable. Take the Palestinians as the most insanely generous example. The fact that Islamic regimes and governments are corrupt, rob their citizens and have a backwards tribal mentality is not the fault of America, they have tried to change it.

Second, you are implying that artists and film makers should take care not to offend Muslims because they cause violence and burn each other. This is not the artists fault. There are millions of anti-Christian or Jewish movies and art put out all around the world. You do not see mobs going crazy and killing each other.

It is like saying that a woman who is attractive and dresses a bit modernly deserves to be raped and beaten for provoking the men.

Think about it, Havas and try not to have the knee-jerk reaction of excusing Muslim violent behaviour,
