Iranian Black Ops

Reader comment on item: Another Islamist Assault, Another Western Cringe

Submitted by EthanP (United States), Sep 13, 2012 at 11:49

IMHO, it must be questioned whether this "film" is part of an Iranian psy-ops campaign to sow dissent and render a western attack against their nuclear weapons program problematic.

Points for this are:

1-Sam Bashir is an alias. People who met him on set reportedly said he wasn't Israeli and probably not Jewish.

2-Exactly 100 wealthy Jewish donors, not 98, not 102.

3-The cast and crew were under the impression they were making a biblical documentary. Claiming that's the dialogue they were given and the current anti Islamic dialogue was dubbed in later.

4-The costumes certainly look like Judea circa 0CE. One even looks like one of the wise men. Not 7th century Arabia.
