What if the United States took all the refugees. Palestinians are relatively highly educated and hardworking entrepreneurial people who have tended to do well in the US. The US has been a traditional refuge for people without a state of their own (Irish, Polish, Jewish etc.) If Israel doesn't want them back and other Arab countries won't take them (why should they when they don't take Arabs from any other Arab country either?) wouldn't the United States be the logical place to absorb the Palestinians?
