Reader comment on item: Count Palestine Refugees?
in response to reader comment: How I became a Palestinian refugee

Your opening raises many issues, and in order to bring Happiness (and UN funding) to the greatest number some should be addressed :

Would shaking hands while wearing elegant calfskin gloves reduce one's chances of becoming a UN (and US and EU) supported Palestinian Refugee ? This is important because one winter I was introduced to such in the Rue du Rhone in Geneva, while wearing gloves.

While being thankful that a Palestinian residence is not a requirement for "nationality", have you investigated the disbursement support requirements in so far as residency is concerned ? I would find it easy to establish a PO box address with family, within Katyousha range of Gaza, but would find it more convenient for support payments to be paid into my British Bank account.

Thank you for addressing these important issues, and for the trouble you might have to go to, as a Palestinian, in the support of your future cousin.
