End Of Age Of Oil

Reader comment on item: The Unthinkable Consequences of an Iran-Israel Nuclear Exchange

Submitted by John Peacher (United States), Mar 6, 2010 at 16:34

An Israeli strike on Iran is one way to end global warming! Al Gore and the environmentalist should be strong advocates of an Israeli first strike against the mad Mullah's of Iran. The Suez closed, the oil fields abaze, no tankers getting to the West; what a concept! Would the end result be an enlarged Artic ice sheet; happy polar bears, penguins multiplying and weather back to what it should be? What an awesome thought! Billions of dollars saved! West Virginia (where I live) coal at a premium price; happy hillbillies yelling like Jeb Clambett on the Beverly Hillbillies! And the icing on the cake would be Islamist stopped dead in their tracks! No more Saudi schools in the West teaching terror to children; suicide bombers blowing themselves up, and only themselves in their misery realized that the West does have the guts, the fortitude, the will to defend itself against a culture of death. Do what you do best, Israel - defend yourself and stop listening to those who fear confrontation and defense.
