Reader comment on item: CAIR's Assault on Paul Harvey

Submitted by Ray W. (Canada), Jan 19, 2004 at 21:58

Islam is not as reasonable a religion as it claims. Anything even seemingly critical is immediately regarded as an attack on the religion. THERE IS NO ROOM FOR DEBATE OR INTERJECTION : PERIOD!!!, and make no mistake about that. Anyone who comments on its practices, even ones that are cruel like the chopping of limbs or the stoning to death of adulterers soon becomes an enemy to the religion. The "great" Ayatollah Khomeini advocated sex with children and animals...but critisize him and you may have to move. Ours is a clash of cultures that cannot be resolved until Muslims are willing to let us live the way we do and not try and force everyone to become Islamic.
