in response to reader comment: your comments about Islam are totally based on ignorance

You are totally mistaken ! The moors conquered the south of Spain, Portugal, France and Italy at the beginning of the eighth century. The Mongolians captured Russia, other slavic countries, and parts of central Europe before in the 13th century. Then, in the 16th century, the ottoman army was ready to conquere Europe and failled 2x at Vienna (1529 & 1683), but still had parts of former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece under control.

Without crude oil arabic countries would have never played that role in politics as they do these days. The dangerous mixture is: weapons of the 21th century in the hands of people, who still celebrate rules of the 7th century. This is highly explosive and will lead to an inescapable conflict between the Western World and the Muslim world, as long as people like George W. Bush & Osama Bin-Laden can agitate without taking the responsibilities for their criminal actions.
