ACLU---Double StandardsReader comment on item: Other Taxpayer-Funded American Madrassas Submitted by Straight_Talk_Luigi (United States), Apr 17, 2008 at 01:15 It is nice to see the ACLU get involved here for once instead of waste its time worrying about that Christian Ten Commandments are written in dark corner of a courthouse, although I'm sure it pains some it's pro-Islam members. Now, let's look at the facts here: The ACLU was more or less led to this like a horse with its rider dangling a carrot in front of it. During the 9-11 attacks, the ACLU didn't dare to interfere in massive prayer gatherings in public places. Since then, the mere mention of God in school draws up frivolous lawsuits because someone is "offended" to hear the word God.
