Toledo, OH public-funded Arabic language charter schools

Reader comment on item: Other Taxpayer-Funded American Madrassas
in response to reader comment: I see they teach taqiyya at the schools, too

Submitted by Diane Mills (United States), Mar 31, 2008 at 20:03

We have "Bridge Academy of Ohio" and "Central Academy of Ohio," a K-5 and middle schools here on Secor Rd. in Toledo. The Toledo Blade reported last fall that they are run by "Global Educational Excellence" of Ann Arbor, Michigan. For details search Toledo Blade around Sept. 2007, the time of the schools' grand opening. According to the article, the schools always dismiss Fridays at noon for teacher "professional development." I have shockingly neither seen nor heard these schools mentioned in the media since then.
