More real jawahir (gems) from our dear Iftikhar AhmadReader comment on item: Other Taxpayer-Funded American Madrassas Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Sep 25, 2007 at 19:14 Our dear Iftikhar ...wrote ...The medium of instruction of Muslim schools is English. Muslim children need to be well versed in Standard English to follow the National Curriculum and go for higher studies and research to serve humanity Wow I'm so impressed. Big time falsafa . State schools with monolingual teachers have failed to teach English to bilingual Muslim children and majority of them leave schools with low grades. Could you provide us with studies that prove such point? Bilingual Muslim children need state funded Muslim schools with bilingual Muslim teachers as role models. And why is that? They need to learn Standard English. OK At the same time they need to learn Arabic, Urdu and other community languages to keep in touch with their cultural roots and enjoy the beauty of their literature and poetry. But wait a minute: so they need to learn let me count: Arabic, English and Urdu well this is not bilingual education any more. Your math is poor our dear Iftikhar it should be trilingual! What do you think ya ayuha al-faylasoof al-kabeer? And where would you find enough teachers that know all 3 languages? and why would a Muslim child from let us say Saudi Arabic have to learn Urdu? But like i say: you are here defending Arabian imperialsim that brutlaized your own Hindu ancestors and for this i say: shame on you
